Ingredients
  1. 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  2. 1 medium Red Bell Pepper chopped
  3. 1/2 medium Onion chopped
  4. 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  5. 56 oz Baked Beans, canned
  6. 1/2 cups Brown Sugar, Light
  7. 3 tbsp Paprika heaping
  8. 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  9. 1/2 tbsp Onion Powder
  10. 1/4 cups Molasses
  11. 1 cup Barbecue Sauce Neely\'s sauce recommended at foodnetwork.com
Steps
  1. 1 Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
  2. 2 In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Saute the red pepper, onion and garlic until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the baked beans and remaining ingredients (add 3/4 cup chopped pork or beef brisket if desired) and bring to a low simmer. Cover the beans and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
