Ingredients
- 12oz (340.2goz -> g) Linguine prefer whole wheat
-
1
1/2 lb (680.4glb -> g) Shrimp deveined - 3cloves (≈9gestimated from: Garlic, raw [clove]) Garlic chopped
- 12oz (340.2goz -> g) Arugula
-
1/2 tsp (≈0.9gestimated from: Spices, pepper, red or cayenne [tsp]) Red Pepper Flakes - 1medium (≈58gestimated from: Lemons, raw, without peel [fruit (2-1/8" dia)]) Lemon zest and juice
Steps
- 1 In a pot of salty, boiling water cook your linguine to al dente. While it’s cooking chop your garlic, zest your lemons, and wash your arugula.
- 2 Once the pasta is cooked, drain but reserve about 1/2 cup of the hot cooking water. Wipe out the pan and heat up some olive oil in it.
- 3 Add the garlic first and cook for half a minute, then the shrimp (season them with a bit of Kosher salt), and red pepper flakes and salt and pepper to flavor. Add the lemon juice. Cook for about 3 minutes or until the shrimp is just about done.
- 4 Add the pasta back to the pan along with the zest, arugula, and 1/2 cup hot cooking liquid. Stir it all together gently so a sauce forms over the noodles and serve.
