Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- 2 In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Saute the red pepper, onion and garlic until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the baked beans and remaining ingredients (add 3/4 cup chopped pork or beef brisket if desired) and bring to a low simmer. Cover the beans and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
